It is sri Shani pradosh, Pradosh is a day that eradicate miseries from life and when it falls on Saturday-lord Saturn truly help devotees to make it,  

Pradosh is a Jaya Tithi which indicate victory or relates victory, for victory one needs good health whichever subject it may be, and Pradosh is indicator of good health,

Presiding deity of the day is Kama yet the day is ruled by lord Shiva, the preceptor of Bhagwan Shani Dev,

Lord Shiva is a great giver and his glory as Avdar Daani is known to the world, he is bestower of wishes and giver of boons, man needs at its foremost good health and Pradosh is the day,

Tomorrow it is Shivratri of the month and day after tomorrow, it is Somvati, On sunrise first moon is on Tuesday but at night it is on Monday, night is considered for many reasons to celebrate this divine festival that known as Sri Amavasya,
