Jai Shani Dev,
Austerity and penance has nothing to do with to please the Lord Saturn,

To please the lord Saturn, One needs to practice truth at its first step,

Serve the nature and mankind that in true spirit without hidden motives and greed is path to reach at,

Indeed charity that for a cause brings close the lord but that charity must be with faith and trust, iot must a part of curtsey may be difference to public opinion but not in fear of God,

Lawfully earned very small amount of charity proves very fruitful against the  huge spending to earn the name and fame,

Lord Saturn Watches behind the veils of heart and mind-nothing is hidden to him,

True service श्रम दान for the cause which never involves money is one of the best charity performed in the lotus feet of Lord,
