It is great festival of light that known in the name of MAHA_SHIVRATRI,

The appearance day of Lord Shiva-the true preceptor of Bhagwan Shani Dev,

I revere the lotus feet of Lord Shiva, he who like a juggler spreads out this universe, but does it out of his own will, incarnate as the blessed teacher,

I revere the lotus feet of Sat-Guru Bhagwan Shiv, he whose manifestation, the essence of which is reality, appears as the object of fictitious notion, who impart direct enlightenment to those who resorted to him by Vedic teachings,

I revere the lotus feet of Lord Shiva, he who through auspicious gestures reveals to his worshippers his own self which persists even when childhood, manhood, old hood or waking as well as other states have come and gone and constantly manifest itself inwardly as I to him,

I revere the lotus feet of Lord Shiva, he whose eight forms consisting earth, water, fire, air, ether, Sun, Moon and the man the scarificer, manifest itself as this universe of animate and inanimate

I revere the lotus feet of Lord Shiva, the giver of all the four rewards suitable for man,
