Today is the day of Devi Yamuna, loving sister of Lord Saturn and great devotee of Lord Krishna,

Devi Yamuna choose her abode on the planet in Sri Brij Bhumi along the Vrindavan and recalled her brother Yum there to liberate devotees of lord Krishna from the jaws of death at the changeover,

Yum Dritiya is that sacred day which that falls in sacred kartik kartik-Devi Yamuna called it for a cause and today it is the that auspicious day,

They who have the glimpse of Devi Yamuna in Brij Bhumi on this day colors self with the boon that awarded to Devi Yamuna by her brother,
