There are two facets of Maya for man, one that descends it to lowly truth of degeneration which leads to pit fall and other inspire soul to ascends for regions far from the truth of mundane existence,

In lower regions it ties the soul and bind it with compulsions against the wish and will and in higher regions it indicate liberty to express self for varying reasons,
